Aqua Sun International was formed to bring clean, safe, drinking water to people in areas around the world where water purification is impractical or unattainable.

Aqua Sun began building domestic solar systems in 1973. It has installed over 500 solar systems in the Western United States. In 1986 the company entered the water purification business. The concept of combining solar power and water purification into a portable system was developed in 1990.

This first solar powered water purification product was a portable system enclosed in a small carrying case. The system could be set up in less than one minute, and could produce a gallon per minute of clean, safe drinking water.

These systems were put into operation on the Colorado River in 1993 with river rafting companies on an evaluation basis. In 1996 the EPA and FDA approved the system in a new pilot program for providing drinking water directly from the Colorado River by the rafting companies. The Coconino County Health Department , in Arizona, determined the system was the most effective system in use on the Colorado River to date. Since this time Aqua Sun systems have been put into operation worldwide.

His 25 years of experience in Solar Energy led him into the water purification field 10 years ago. His idea of blending solar photovolatic energy and chemical and bacterial removal water purification systems together to form Portable and Stationary Solar Powered Water ]Purification Systems for Remote Applications came back in 1990. His research and development has led Aqua Sun to over 100 different types, styles and sizes of systems that are being used World Wide.

His past experiences include Plant Manager of an Electronics Manufacturing Company in the 1960's to the middle of the 1970's working on such projects as Radar Defense Systems for the U.S. Military to NASA along with Lawrence Radiation Laboratory for the testing of Star Wars which earned him a Government Security Rating of a GS-11, the Trident Submarine and MX Missile Programs and part of the Emergency response Team for the disabled Skylab and many other Military and Civilian Contractors. Numerous Colleges and Universities World Wide who experimented in the field of EPM "Electro Magnetic Plus".

He then moved into the Solar Energy Business in 1973 with designing and building over 500 Solar Systems and Homes along with some of the largest Solar Laundry Matt's in the Western United States.

His experience in all phases of the Solar Energy Field from Solar Systems that range from Active and Passive Solar Homes to Solar Hot Water and Solar Heating Systems to the Solar Electrical Photovolatic Systems has made him one of the most widely Experienced and Practicable Solar Professionals in the World today.
