SAMPLE ID: Single Unit Ultraviolet Sterilizer with 5 Micron Sediment Filter

CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS

The unit was tested at flow rates (outlet) of ½ gallon/minute, 1 gallon/minute, and 1 ½ gallon/minute using distilled water, which had been spiked with Escherichia Coli bacteria. The unit was sterilized with chlorine between each run to avoid carry-over contamination. Sterile distilled water was pumped through the unit prior to each run and tested for E. Coli.

Run A
- ½ gallon/minute:    Reduction Percent = 99.84%

Sterile Water Rinse = O Coliforms/100ml

Spiked Water = Approx. 80,000/100ml

Average # Coliforms/100ml after passing through UV Sterilization Unit = 29 (Based upon 3 runs @ ½ gal/min)

Run B - 1 gallon/minute:    Reduction Percent = 99.82%

Sterile Water Rinse = O Coliforms/100ml

Spiked Water = Approx. 80,000/100ml

Average # Coliforms/100ml after passing through UV Sterilization Unit = 143 (Based upon 3 runs @ 1 gal/min)

Run C - 1 ½ gallon/minute:    Reduction Percent = 99.75%

Sterile Water Rinse = O Coliforms/100ml

Spiked Water = Approx. 80,000/100ml

Average # Coliforms/100ml after passing through UV Sterilization Unit = 200 (Based upon 3 runs @ 1 ½ gal/min)
