SPWP-C System Solar / 12 - volt Case

Aqua Sun manufactures the SPWP-C Counter Top, Traveling / Portable Water Purification system for the person or family who desires Cleaner and Safer Drinking Water in their Home and yet who is concern about Emergency Preparedness, or the lost of electrical power due to natural or man-made disasters, civil defense matters or the most recent concern, Y2K.

This Dual Powered Water Purification System has the capabilities of producing cleaner and safer drinking water at approximately 1 gallon / 3.7 liters per minute from the kitchen sink faucet in the Home, or it can be easily and quickly disconnected and transformed into a Traveling, Portable System that can be taken almost anywhere in the World and produce Cleaner and Safer Drinking Water from most any creek, stream, pond, well, lake, campsite drinking faucet or most any fresh water source other then salt water.

Solar Power is generated by a Photovolatic electrical producing solar panel that can be attached to the lid of the case for charging purposes or stored inside for traveling and shipping. The SOLAR PANEL charges a sealed, gel cell 12-volt battery and the battery power's a self priming pump and the ultraviolet disinfecting lamp located inside the Counter Top Unit. When operating on the solar / battery, the system can produce up to a 100 gallons of purified water a day. For 12-VOLT OPERATION, a 15 ft long extension cord with a cigarette lighter plug and battery cable connectors are provided for a direct electrical connection to most 12-volt power sources such as a vehicle, truck, bus, boat, airplane or generator. When operating under DC power, this system will produce one gallon per minute for the length of the auxcelery power source.

The electrical power is used to operate a water pump that pulls the water from the source and through a Pre-Sediment Filter that cleans the water. The water is then Pumped / Pushed through the Counter Top System that houses a Heavy Metals Polishing Filter that has the capabilities of reducing and removing Giardia Lamblia, Crytosporidium, Cyst, Pesticides, Chlorine and Chlorine By-Products such as THM's, certain VOC's, Bad Tastes, Odors, Color, Smell, Lead / Mercury, Hevey Metals and many other Harmful Chemical Contaminants down to a 1.0-Micron. The Polished Water is then channeled past an Ultraviolet Light Disinfecting Process that Kills the Bacteria, Viruses, Typhoid Fever, Dysentery, Cholera, Infectious Jaundice, Hepatitis and Influenza Virus, E-coli, Enteric Fever and many other unwanted Microorganisms to a 99.9999 % purity.

• The Counter Top, In-Home System size is 14" Tall x 5" Diameter. The Traveling Brief Case System is 20" Long x 17" Wide x 9" Deep, Approx. Weight of 35 lbs.

• Life Expectancy of the Heavy Metals Filter with clean incoming water is 2,000 gallons

• The Ultraviolet Light under normal usage has a Life Expediency of 12 months

• All Water Contact Components carry a NSF Approval Rating and the Ultraviolet Light and Filters carry a Certificate of Analysis and is a Member of the Water Quality Association.
